Discovery Networks UK is premiering Chop Shop: London Garage online four days before its on air debut.

The 13-part series, which sees car enthusiasts Bernie and Leepu set up a car workshop in the Bangladeshi community of London’s East End, will premiere on Discovery Channel at 10pm on October 8, but can be watched online from today at the channel's website.

Keith Underwood, vice president and commercial controller at Discovery Networks UK said: "Our goal is to bring Discovery programming to our audiences wherever they may be. Chop Shop: London Garage is set to be one of our most popular shows. Using Discovery On Demand as a ‘first look’ destination for a top rating factual show is an experiment for us as we look to integrate our programming across multiple platforms."

To support the programme, Discovery Mobile’s Turbo content will be dedicated solely to the launch of Chop Shop, including behind the scenes footage and content from Bernie and Leepu’s first series Bangla Bangers.

A multimedia campaign developed in partnership with 4Creative is also being rolled out, and depicts the pair duelling over car designs and makeover processes with the strapline "Sparks Will Fly".

Rebecca Rormark, senior vice president of marketing at Discovery Networks UK said: "Bernie and Leepu are extraordinary characters and the magic of the show is in seeing their unique relationship played out on screen against the extraordinary creative process of designing and making the cars."
