Norton to host BBC1 tribute act show
Published Friday, Oct 5 2007, 09:28 BST | By Dave West

The Ultimate Tribute will pit solo impersonators against each other for the prize of becoming a professional.
The eight-episode series will see contestants selected, helped along by professionals and perform live - before going to the public vote.
It will be a knock-out process until just one is left. They will win a three-month contract to work with Legends in Concert, a long-running variety tribute show in Las Vegas.
Producers are now asking anyone interested in trying their luck to register at bbc.co.uk/ultimatetribute. They may be picked to audition in Edinburgh or London in late October or early November.
