Shane Lynch worries about 'Cirque'

Shane Lynch is worried that his Cirque de Celebrité performances will not be up to scratch.

The former Boyzone singer has missed out on key training sessions because he has only just returned from honeymoon with his new wife Sheena White.

"I didn't realise how extreme it would be going from being on honeymoon to this," Shane told Teletext. "It's been a hard hit. It's so physically demanding and to see how the others are progressing means I've got to do some big style catching up.

"I've been away lapping it up, eating and drinking. I'm a stone and a half overweight. So to start hanging from the ceiling? Oh man! But it's going good and I feel confident."

The show kicks off on Sky One tomorrow night at 8pm.
