McFly "wimpy" on ghost hunt show

McFly have confessed to being "wimps" when they took part in a one-off special of ITV2's Ghost Hunting With...

Band members Danny, Dougie, Tom and Harry were given a tour of "haunted" locations in Northumberland by presenter Yvette Fielding.

Spooky venues included a forest, a mine and a 13th Century castle.

Tom Fletcher commented: "If you wanna see four wimps completely s***ting themselves and running around in the dark for an hour whilst having ghosts throw rocks at them, then this is the show for you. Ghostbusters eat your hearts out!"

Emmerdale's Dingle family recently signed up to appear in a special episode of the programme.

Pop stars Girls Aloud joined forces with Yvette to face their fears last year.

Ghost Hunting With…McFly airs on October 23 on ITV2.
