She will apparently reveal insider gossip about the series - including its phone-in scandals.
"I’d like to write a book about everything that goes on," she commented. "After all, I have been there ten years, so it’s time I wrote something about it."
The Daily Star Sunday says Huq could get £500,000 for the book from keen publishers.
"Konnie is being besieged with offers," a source told the paper. "This is going to be one of the hottest reads of the year.
“She has lots of stories to tell – not to mention the recent scandals."
The BBC was this summer fined £50,000 by Ofcom for a phone-in competition that entrants could not win. And an online poll to name the show’s cat was fixed.
Richard Marson, Blue Peter editor on both occasions, recently left - reportedly because of the scandals.
