BBC Three commissions 'The Wall'

BBC Three has selected Endemol producer Zeppotron to make new comedy, music and celebrity strand The Wall.
It will be a long-running show designed to develop "faces" for the channel.
At the centre of the show will be a big video wall for viewer interaction. People will be able to send in suggestions, questions for celebrities, jokes and even show off their own talents via the screen.
There will also be a website featuring user contributions in line with the BBC's plan to make its site more social.
BBC Three controller Danny Cohen explained: “The Wall is a dedicated showcase for the next generation of British comedy and entertainment talent. It feels like this kind of show has been missing from British telly in recent years."
Zeppotron's Neil Webster will executive produce with Peter Holmes and Ruth Phillips. Webster commented: "It’s the kind of TV you dream about being asked to make. Producing a weekly live comedy show is a unique platform for breaking new talent."
It was competing with Objective Productions, the BBC’s Comedy Unit and Hat Trick Productions for the show which was commissioned by Elaine Bedell, controller of entertainment commissioning, and comedy controller Lucy Lumsden.
