Lewis Hamilton to appear on 'Parkinson'
Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton is to appear on the last series of Michael Parkinson's chat show.

Hamilton will discuss his recent World Championship defeat during his first television interview, where he will be joined by James Blunt and Sir Ian McKellen.

Parkinson is to quit the programme at Christmas after thirty years.

He has also stepped down from his long-running BBC Radio 2 show, saying he wants to travel the world with his wife.

Hamilton's interview airs on November 10 on ITV1.
