Marshall: 'BT adverts changed my life'

Kris Marshall has revealed that starring in the BT Broadband adverts has changed his life.
The former My Family star insisted that he has no regrets about appearing in the commercials, saying he is "just trying to earn a living".
But he admitted that he has been criticised for his decision to front the campaign, saying: "I knew when I took it on I'd get some sniping. If you stand on a box people are going to punch you."
Marshall, who can currently be seen in comedy film Death At A Funeral, explained: "The [ads] have changed my life. People have this misguided conception that if you are on TV or if you make films you are fantastically well off. Unless it's a well paid job and unless you're huge star, jobs are not as well paid as people think they are.
"People have said to me before, 'Why are you doing ads?' Well no, f*** off actually. They are really lucrative. You are never guaranteed work with acting - no matter who you are. I spent eight years not earning a living and hoping it would come off in the end. Fortunately for me it did, and I'm just trying to earn a living."
