Davidson wanted to 'rip Dowling's head off'

Davidson left the reality cooking show in September after making homophobic comments to the Big Brother 2 winner, including calling him a "shirt-lifter" and a "poof".
He told ITV1's This Morning: "I wanted to rip that bloke's head off, to tell you the truth. I couldn't stand him at all, or the two girls (Adele Silva and Abbey Clancy)."
He admitted that Dowling had "really aggravated" him and he had concluded that leaving the programme was the "best thing to do".
When presenter Phillip Schofield asked Davidson if he was a "homophobic bigot", the comic replied: "There's a bit of bigotry in all of us. Homophobic literally means a fear of gay people. Well, I'm not. I've got lots of gay friends and I don't really want to go around with a banner saying 'Some of my best friends are gay'. I don't mean to do that. I was Brianophobic, if you like. I didn't like that guy and I didn't like the reality TV show I found myself in."
He also criticised the producers for showing the clip when they thought it would enrage viewers, as well as allegedly "editing it out of context".
