BBC One and CBBC have commissioned a new series in which children convince their parents to stop smoking.
Ten 30-minute episodes of The Smokehouse will be made by Endemol subsidiary Initial.
Six families will move into a house where the children can lay down regimes to get their parents clean.
There will be experts on techniques and motivational skills while athletes and fitness trainers will also give advice.
CBBC creative director Anne Gilchrist commissioned the show. It will air on both CBBC and BBC One early next year and is executive produced by Ian Holt for Initial and Alison Gregory for CBBC.
Gregory said: "One of CBBC's aims is to empower children and offer them the tools to influence the world around them.
"The Smokehouse will set a powerful example about the real impact of passive smoking on the whole family."
