'Bewitched' to be remade for UK?
Published Monday, Nov 12 2007, 14:06 GMT | By Kimberley Dadds
Hit 1960s American show Bewitched is being reinvented for a British audience for the BBC, according to reports.
The sitcom followed the everyday life of housewife witch Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery), who cast spells with a twitch of her nose.
Bewitched made a comeback when Australian actress Nicole Kidman played the lead part in a movie version in 2005.
A pilot episode has been made and the BBC is in talks to introduce a whole series, which it hopes will be a ratings hit.
