Corby, Gauci make 'Australian Idol' final
Matt Corby and Natalie Gauci will go head-to-head in the Australian Idol final on November 25.

Carl Risely lost out in the semi-final of the show, standing only 4% away from the top vote.

Risely performed versions of James Morrison's 'You Give Me Something' and Stevie Wonder's 'For Once In My Life'.

After being voted off the show, he told the audience: "Man, I am so thrilled for these two. These two are the most talented guys I have ever met.

"I wish you guys all the luck. I love you guys."

Gauci, 25, was the first to be told she had made the final. She responded: "I am just in really big shock. I just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me."

Gauci and Corby will perform at the Sydney Opera House and sing the winner's single 'Here I Am' on the final show later this month.
