Springer for 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

Jerry Springer has signed up for next year's series of Who Do You Think You Are?, according to reports.

The television show, which traces celebrities' family histories, has already had stars such as Graham Norton, Carol Vorderman and Natasha Kaplinsky appear on it.

Now US TV star Springer has begun looking at his background for the show and he revealed that he will end up visiting Auschwitz, where a few of his relatives died during the Holocaust.

During an interview for ET, Springer revealed: "I show up in England with my passport and they take me around the world. They've already arranged it, but I don't know where they're taking me.

"I know I'm going to Germany... because that's where my parents are from, and that's where the rest of my family was killed. That'll be tough. Yeah, going to Auschwitz, that'll be horrible."
