Hancock signs to ITV's 'Duel'
Nick Hancock is to present new ITV1 game show Duel.

He said he was looking forward to his first presenting role for the channel: "The Duel format is absolutely brilliant, not only do you get a good old fashioned head to head battle but we've got big money on offer.

"Once the show starts we hope the viewers will all be wondering if they've got the confidence and nerve to come and have a go."

ITV1 entertainment and comedy controller Duncan Gray added: "Duel is an incredibly dramatic game, where Nick Hancock stakes contestants ten chips to change their lives."

It sees two people compete through multiple choice questions for a large cash jackpot and was devised by French TV.

A series of hour-long shows are being produced by Gallowgate productions and TX for a peak time slot early next year.
