Britton goes on secret trip to Basra

The presenter spent three days visiting the troops in Iraq for Britton In Basra, which will be screened December 10-13.
In an interview about her experiences, she revealed that she had come under direct attack from rockets fired at an army base.
Britton commented: "It really was dangerous. We had a couple of alarms and I heard four rockets landing. We hit the deck and took cover."
She also revealed that she was moved to tears by a thank you card from the nurses serving in Basra.
The presenter commented: "They make things out of nothing because they have nothing but they made me a beautiful card to say thank you for coming, which moved me to tears."
