The Austrian girl imprisoned for eight years after being abducted is to host her own TV chat show.
The show has the working title In Conversation With... Natascha Kampusch and will be aired on the Puls 4 channel in Austria.
Kampusch also has her own website called 'Natascha's World' and has employed a media adviser.
She said: "For a while I've been considering coming out of the role of a passive media object. The interviews could be famous people, but also very ordinary ones - anyone with a story."
The 19-year-old made global headlines last year when she escaped from the cellar where she had been held by IT technician Wolfgang Priklopil since being kidnapped at the age of ten. He threw himself under a train later the same day.
She has been undergoing intensive schooling and psychotherapy for the last year and has spoken about her wish to work in the media.
