'Red Dwarf' returns for new 'mobisodes'
Published Saturday, Dec 22 2007, 13:20 GMT | By Ben Rawson-Jones

Pitch will broadcast brand new 'mobisodes' to subscribers, which feature original cast members including Craig Charles and Chris Barrie reprising their roles as Dave Lister and Arnold 'Judas' Rimmer.
Pitch's chief executive Martin Bowley heralded the cult BBC 2 show's move to the mobile market: "This new deal with the team at Red Dwarf... shows the broadcasting world how new content can be created for new mediums. Exceptionally, this activity symbolises the first time work has been created solely for the mobile medium which has never been seen on TV before."
Red Dwarf is unlikely to return to the television after a further series was reportedly rejected by BBC 2.
