BBC Parliament controller Peter Knowles has announced plans for the channel to re-air BBC Two's Daily Politics show every weeknight.
The programme, which is hosted by Andrew Neil, goes out on BBC Two at lunchtimes. It runs for 30 minutes every weekday except Wednesday, when it is extended to 90 minutes to accommodate Prime Minister's Questions.
"It's a great programme and I think its wit and insight will be as welcome at midnight as they've always been in the middle of the day," explained Knowles. "We've also started showing Prime Minister's Questions on BBC Parliament at 7.30pm on Wednesdays.
"We're using the schedule to give viewers the chance to catch up with the best of the week in politics outside office hours."
