Russell Crowe is visiting the Welsh town of Wrexham to learn more about his ancestors as part of BBC Wales programme Coming Home.

Crowe will be filmed tracing his family tree around Wales in the show, which has previously featured Susan Sarandon and Donny Osmond learning about their Welsh ancestry.

The show will reveal that the Aussie actor descended from Welsh grocers.

His grandfather John Crowe emigrated to New Zealand where he married and had two children.
