Virgin 1 has acquired the exclusive UK rights to the City in Fear series of documentaries produced by NBC News.
Each of the series 10 episodes examines a well-known American crime situation, ranging from the "BTK Killer" who confessed in 2005 to 10 murders carried out in Wichita between 1974 to 1991, to the 2002 sniper attacks in the Washington, D.C. area.
"Virgin 1's viewers have shown us that they love crime investigation so we know that they will enjoy this unique look at some of America's most high profile and shocking crimes," said Virgin 1 acquisitions executive Andreas Lemos. "City in Fear will be an exciting addition to our winter line up."
The series starts tomorrow at 10pm.
