Clifford Streit is rumoured to be in talks with publishers about a tell-all account of the filming of the programme.
Streit was a former manager of author Candace Bushnell, who penned the bestselling novel on which the HBO series was based.
The book has the working title Unbecoming Stanford, referring to the show's gay character Stanford Blatch, who was allegedly based on Streit.
According to MSNBC, the memoir will expose a real-life affair between two of the show's onscreen lovers, as well as tell the true story about rumoured clashes between Kim Cattrall and the rest of the cast.
It will also claim that executive producer Darren Star refused to give actor Ashton Kutcher a role, saying: "I don't see this kid going anywhere."
The Sex And The City movie finished filming in New York last month.
