The model claimed that being followed by cameras as she searched for a husband was a "naive" decision.
Marsh eventually married Matthew Peacock in September. The final episode of the show saw Jodie confronted by MTV executives who accused her of picking a husband who she had known prior to the series, contrary to the programme's premise.
"I had a nervous breakdown because MTV tried to stitch me up. I was extremely naive," Marsh said on The Jeremy Kyle Radio Show. "Honestly I wanted to find love. Forget the cameras."
Defending herself against accusations that she lied to the show's producers, Jodie insisted: "I met [Matt] once at a party for about 5 minutes."
Jodie announced that she was divorcing Matthew in September. "I'm married now and I don't want to be," she said in the interview.
