Aardman International is hoping to sell titles including Wallace and Gromit in Latin America.

The cartoon firm has agreed a deal for Spiral International to become its distribution agency in the region.

Spiral will be offering all Aardman shows for free-to-air television, DVD and digital in Latin America and is expected to start sales at NATPE this month.

Productions including Shaun the Sheep and upcoming Wallace and Gromit special Trouble At'Mill will be offered to broadcasters in the region
for the first time.

Aardman head of sales Alix Wiseman said: "Since the launch of Aardman's dedicated distribution division, Latin America remains an unchartered territory, so this will be the first time that our diverse catalogue will be officially presented to buyers across the region.

"With the expertise offered by Spiral's international team, we have every confidence that they will be successful in securing key deals across the region."
