The puppets of Tony and Cherie Blair used in spoof show Spitting Image have sold for £12,600.
The latex puppets fetched double the expected sum at the auction of entertainment memorabilia by London house Bonhams.
The former Prime Minister and his wife were popular figures in the latter stages of the classic comedy series, which aired on ITV.
A note from George Harrison to his father in which he apologised for not writing often enough was also snapped up for £17,400.
The letter, penned on Hare Krishna stationery, read: “I’ll try to be less busy so we can make up for the missing moments (that I don’t enjoy missing).”
A book signed by Harrison fetched £5,040, while a signed Armani leather jacket donated by Bond star Daniel Craig raised £4,800.
The actor wore the item in his first outing as the superspy in 2006 movie Casino Royale.
