Claudia Winkleman is to take over as host of Liquid News in a contract worth £200,000 a year, according to the News Of The World today.
The BBC Choice show will be the flagship of the Corporation's new youth station BBC Three, and has been one of the channel's biggest draws.
The programme has been fronted by a series of guest presenters -- including Richard Bacon and Julian Clary -- for the past few months, following the death of Chris Price in April.
30-year-old Claudia will alternate presenting on weeknights with Colin Paterson, who has thusfar been an OB reporter for the show, until October, when it will be relaunched with both of them at the helm.
"Chris was a great friend and impossible to replce," she told the newspaper. "It is testament to his amazing talent that it will take four clumsy feet to fill his shoes."
Patterson, who previously worked on C4's Big Breakfast, said: "Christopher was fantastic to work with. He made me feel welcome right from the start. I learned a lot from him."
It will be the first time Patterson and Winkleman have worked together, but they think they'll make a good team.
She's very Hello! and I'm more Viz," said Paterson.

"I don't think we'll be Anne and Nick or Richard and Judy - we'll be more like Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd in Moonlighting, but without the singing career," said Patterson.
Winkleman added: "I think it will be very funny. I will just sit there and hold his hand under the desk if we get a difficult guest. I want us to be like Torvill and Dean."
