Rival Media has bought the UK rights to Swedish reality format The Peacemakers.
The show from Strix TV, originally made for Sweden's TV3, sees people including international peacekeepers, priests and teachers brought in to try and resolve disputes between ordinary people.
Rival was set up by Howard Myers, former creative director for Buena Vista International, and Steve Wynne, ex-Warner Bros International production director, in February.
Myers said: "We love the idea behind The Peacemakers and we know that we'll be producing a must-see version for our audience."
Strix chief executive Robert Aschberg said: "We are happy that this format has sold to the UK, and we are very confident in Rival Media. They will produce a great show, for sure."
