Fresh One Productions, the chef's company, is making the episode of Made with Magic for Nick Junior.
Head of Fresh One Zoe Collins explained the concept: "This is a huge opportunity for Fresh One Productions and we are dead excited about potentially producing a world class kids’ TV set in a fantasy woodland world with food as its central theme."
Debbie MacDonald, Nickelodeon UK's programming director, added: "At Nickelodeon we share Jamie’s passionate belief in the power of inspiring kids to take an active interest in food and where it comes from."
Oliver will be an executive producer on the pilot which will be filmed in the UK this year.
