Dusty Springfield impersonator Katy Setterfield was announced as the winner of The One and Only last night.
Katy secured a three-month performing contract in Las Vegas with the renowned 'Legends in Concert', which is the longest running celebrity impersonator show in the world, after winning over the public with her performances of 'In The Middle Of Nowhere' and 'All I See Is You'. She had also been praised by vocal coaches Carrie and David Grant.
"I'm absolutely speechless, I'm gob-smacked," Katy revealed after the result was announced. "I really can't believe it. I'm very excited about going to Vegas. Being in the competition has been great but I didn't think I'd get past the first round."
In the first live show of the evening, Robbie Williams tribute act Tony Lewis and Cher impersonator Joanna Berns were told that they had received the fewest votes and would be eliminated from the competition. This left Katy, Anthony Adams (Frank Sinatra) and Moni Tivony (Lionel Richie) to go head-to-head in the final.
Anthony was runner-up in the final vote, while Moni took third place.
In her first interview after winning the show, Katy explained: "I'm totally blown away by everyone who has voted for me. These six weeks have been the most fantastic journey for a 37 year old who thought that she was washed up. I'm a totally different girl to the one who started and it just shows that hard work pays off. It has turned my life around!"
