ITV news editor Dacre to leave ITN

Nigel Dacre, the editor of ITV News, is to leave news broadcaster ITN after twenty years at the company. He held the position as editor of ITN's output on ITV for seven years.
Dacre plans to hand the position back to his predecessor, David Mannion, immediately after ITN's September 11 anniversary coverage concludes. He explained: "Seven years is a long time in the job, which is why I have decided to move on now."
