Brand working on C4 show with Princess Eugenie

Russell Brand is working on a new Upstairs, Downstairs-style programme for Channel 4 with Princess Eugenie.

Brand was spotted at the Keats Museum in Hampstead taking part in some Georgian posturing with 17-year-old Eugenie.

"Russell and Eugenie are set to front a new Upstairs, Downstairs programme," an insider told the Daily Star.

"Each episode will see them experience activities or places that are perceived as either high or low culture, but it’s going to be quite fun. For example, Eugenie can take Russ to the polo and he can take her to the dogs. It won’t be any kind of social indictment, just a proper giggle."

Brand performed at last December's Royal Variety Performance and said he was "respectful of the Queen. When I lick a stamp, I do it with my eyes shut".
