Jason admits he'd like more 'Only Fools'

David Jason has said that he would like to make more Only Fools and Horses episodes if the scripts are right.

The 68-year-old actor said in 2005 that he was too old to play Del Boy again, but has now changed his mind about the idea.

Jason told Closer: "If the script was right and the cast were up for it, I'd give it a go."

The last episodes of the sitcom were Christmas specials screened in 2003.

However, the programme's creator John Sullivan has previously claimed that it is time for the show to be brought to an end.

He said: "When I started I thought I might get a second series if I was lucky. To keep going for 23 years was amazing. We're all getting old now - so it's best to bring it to a close."

only fools and horses was the best tv program ive ever seen people took the shows to heart and was part of real fans lives , the bond of two brothers who stuck by each other and the family most would like to be like . ha this show had passion . come back del and rodders

i agree with comments below. i love every episodeof fools and horses.and i think it is time for us to pettion john sullivan.please lets make the whole country happy and make more specialsor even a serious.dont listen to the critcics when have they been right,its the fans that matter.18 million viewers cant be wrong.please bring back the best comedy ever

Come on John Sullivan if you are reading this PLEASE bring the Trotters proper back. Not Rock and Chips which is good but it is not wwhat the people want. We want to see Del boy get married to Raquel the perfect ending to the show. A nice xmas episode for the family, come on john david jason and nicholas lyndhurst both want to make a new one so get writing.

I'm 18 so didn't see them all as they were broadcast originally. I remember watching the recent specials as they were going out however. I watch ofah basically everyday from the box set though. Just proves how timeless the series is and how it appeals to all ages. I would love it if they made another one.

indeed del and raquel never got married so theres one thing that must happen that also gives , boycie and marlene and tyler reason to be in it as they"d be invited to the wedding and there not on the run anymore from the driscolls anyway so they can return to peckham for the wedding

bring it bacj for 2 parter. episode one dels stag nite, would be hilarious, get rodney to be best man. episode 2 the wedding and honeymoon. would be happy ending. All the actors want to do more so just do it john! we want proper ofah not prequel!

I would love to see the trotters back again i am such a big fan i have all of the only fools and horss and i watch the nearly everyday i love the show it brings me joy such great performancies and jokes i enjoyed the prequal i would like to see more please i love all the caracters i wish i could meet the cast and have a giggle with them only fools and horse is the best ever that has been made for tv thank you

we all want this show back its the most decent and funniest shows ever come on bbc dont be a plonker all your life get more episodes made.its even worth the licence fee.luvly jubbly.
