News 24 launches ad campaign

Heart of the Story is the title of a new ad campaign for the BBC's rolling news channel, BBC News 24, set to run on BBC network television and radio. The channel is currently embroiled in a bitter ratings war with arch-rival Sky News.
The campaign is shot in "documentary style", and is "fast paced and dramatic to portray the energy and personality" of the channel, the BBC explains.
It has been asked in the past, although less so recently, as to whether we need a rolling news channel from the BBC when the commercial sector, an example being Sky News, already provides a similar service. The corporation has fought back strongly against such criticism.
Fiona Eastwood, Marketing Manager BBC News, comments: "We wanted a campaign which shows how BBC News 24 is uniquely placed to give viewers a firm grip on today's news.
"The work from BBC Broadcast Ltd effectively captures the expertise and passion of the team on BBC News 24."
