Channel 4 to axe "Fifteen To One"

Long-running gameshow Fifteen To One will be axed next year, according to The Mirror today.
The Channel 4 show, hosted and co-produced by William G Stewart, will be dropped in favour of a new quiz show - Beat The Nation - fronted by the station's former chief Michael Grade.
The move is said to be part of new CEO Mark Thompson's strategy to attract a younger audience.
"Fifteen To One attracts many older viewers and gives out the wrong message about the channel, which is trying to convey a young, trendy image," an insider told the newspaper. "Channel 4 loved the pilot for Beat The Nation. They think Michael Grade is an absolute natural."
