Mackenzie Crook will star in a new BBC sitcom written by Bob Mortimer, say reports.

According to The Sun, Crook and former 11 O'Clock Show host Iain Lee are going to play the lead roles in a Men Behaving Badly-style comedy series.

Speaking about the show, Lee said: "Me and Mackenzie live together and crazy things happen like Rod Stewart sending us an electrified box with 75 quid in it. We try to break into it but we keep getting shocks."

Crook has predominantly worked in movies since The Office ended in 2003.
