Multichannels enjoy super Sunday ratings

Super Sunday, with the league's four biggest clubs meeting in two televised ties, brought millions to Sky Sports 1.
Manchester United's 3-0 victory over Liverpool attracted 2.2m (19.7%) from 1-3.30pm, then 2.3m (15.3%) watched Chelsea defeat Arsenal 2-1 from 3.30pm.
Sky's success continued with Terry Pratchett adaptation The Colour of Magic, which drew 1.5m (7.3%) to Sky One over two hours from 6pm.
The third strong multichannel performer was BBC Three. Some 1.4m (6.4%) tuned in for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom at 7.10pm, then Gavin and Stacey drew 1.2m (5.6%) at 9pm. The audience fell off for returning comedy Pulling at 9.30pm but still averaged a strong 554,000 (2.6%).
