The singer said Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire lacked the necessary location and atmosphere to make Lily Allen And Friends a success.
The programme has been recommissioned by BBC Three, despite struggling to attract viewers and being panned by critics.
The 22-year-old said she hopes to film the second run in central London in a bid to boost ratings.
She told New!: "The type of audience that loves me will travel to a club in London but won't travel all that way outside of London to a studio.
"Pinewood also lacks atmosphere because it's so cavernous."
