BBC plans big-budget Biblical dramas

The BBC plans to make a series of big-budget Bible story dramatisations.
Six hour-long shows combining CGI and live action are being lined up for late next year.
The project is a collaboration between BBC Worldwide and several overseas broadcasters but will be produced in-house at the BBC.
According to Broadcast it is intended to be an "accessible, entertaining, informative and intelligent guide to the Bible".
