Dec: Animals ran amok in 'Talent' auditions
Dec Donnelly has revealed that animals made a dash for the exits during auditions for Britain's Got Talent.

Ant and Dec return to host the new series of the ITV1 reality show on Saturday, with judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan back on the judging panel.

Auditions for the show began in Blackpool in January, before heading to Manchester, Birmingham, London, Cardiff and Glasgow.

Donnelly said there were some mad-cap scenes backstage, with non-human performers running amok.

He revealed: "There were lots of animals attempting to escape! We had ferrets trying to make a run for it and a sheep in a cape and tiara trying to make a dash for the door.

"Also a magician’s doves flew off and wouldn’t come back. It was animal crackers backstage!"

Britain's Got Talent returns Saturday at 7:45pm on ITV1.
