No return for 'Ladette to Lady', 'Palace'

Ladette, in which less sophisticated females take a course at a traditional finishing school, has run for three series on ITV1 and has been a success.
The channel said the show, currently being developed for MTV in the US, had "run its course".
Drama series The Palace, though, began in January and failed to win strong ratings - just 3.1m viewers watched the final episode. The show was one of a slate of newcomers in a New Year "relaunch" for ITV1.
"We are constantly reviewing the schedule and obviously not all new shows, including The Palace, will be returning," a spokeswoman told MediaGuardian.
"However, we have already announced a number of recommissions, including Moving Wallpaper, and are pleased with ITV1's overall performance so far this year."
