'The Apprentice' ratings on the rise

The business-based reality show attracted 27.8% of the audience at 9pm and was 400,000 up on 6.4m for the opening instalment. It easily outpaced BBC One's 5m (21.8%) slot average.
A repeat of property favourite Grand Designs, drawing 3.4m (13.8%) for Channel 4, was the nearest competitor at 9pm.
ITV1's reality TV-themed drama Rock Rivals was watched by 2.2m (8.8%) while The Human Camera, part of Five's Extraordinary People strand, attracted 1.7m (7.1%).
On BBC Two at 9pm, Dan Cruickshank's Adventures in Architecture gained an audience of 1.5m (6.2%).
