RI:SE presenter Colin Murray has quit the C4 breakfast show, according to reports today.
Murray, one of the launch presenters for the programme back in March, has left to concentrate on 4Music and Born Slippy, both for C4.
His agent confirmed that he had been released from his year-long contract six months early. "RI:SE has very kindly released him from his contract because his commitments to 4Music and Born Sloppy clashed with his commitment to getting up early in the morning," she said.
RI:SE, replacement for the station's long-running Big Breakfast, has struggled to get a stronghold in the ratings, with an average of just 200,000 viewers.
