'Waking the Dead' shoots down 'Fixer'

Some 6.8m viewers - a 27.3% share of the audience - tuned in to the crime drama from 9pm, while The Fixer on ITV1 ended its current run with 3.3m (13.3%).
Five put in an unusually good performance in the slot thanks to Extraordinary People documentary Half Man Half Tree, which drew 3.1m (12.5%).
On Channel 4, The Quest for the Lost Ark, about an academic's search for the Ark of the Covenant, won 2m (8.6%), while BBC Two factual offering Am I Normal? interested 1.1m (4.3%).
Earlier on, BBC Two's Delia Smith comeback series finished with its smallest audience so far. Some 2.4m (9.7%) watched Delia at 8.30pm, while the average for the series was 3m (11.7%).
