"Fame Academy" ratings drop to new low

Last night's update edition of Fame Academy was seen by just 3.3m viewers, its lowest audience yet.
The figure -- representing 16% of the available audience at the time -- is 700,000 down on Tuesday's show, which aired in the same 7pm timeslot.
The show, which has garnered the nickname "Lame Academy" from the media, has suffered from being up against ITV1's Emmerdale, which last night averaged 10m viewers and a 48% share.
