Despite picking up two BAFTAs at last night's awards show, Hill feels that the programme hasn't been successful because it has been constantly moved around the ITV schedules.
Hill said: "To me it's not been successful because I've been doing it for seven series. It was going out at 4.30 in the afternoon, 11.00 in the evening; we never had the backing from ITV for it to break through.
"What was good about that was that it let us improve it quietly without anyone knowing. It's only the latest mob at ITV that have really got behind it."
