Skins star Nick Hoult has revealed that he had planned to quit the show at the end of its second series.
The actor, who was axed as part of a cast-wide clearout, told DS he didn't want to be "stuck" in the role of bad boy Tony Stonem. "I think [the cast change] is a good idea," he said. "It will give other people an opportunity to be in the show and hopefully bring on a new wave of young actors."
