Nancys pip 'Mr and Mrs' in the ratings

The contest to find stars for a new stage version of Oliver! was watched by 5.6m, or 27.5% of the audience, from 7.05pm. Though 500,000 down on the previous week, it was 200,000 above the slot average.
At the same time on ITV1, the third instalment of All Star Mr and Mrs, with Fern Britton and Philip Schofield, dropped 1.5m viewers on last week to reach 5.2m (25.2%). The figure is 1m down on the channel's slot average for last year.
A third instalment of Pushing Daisies was seen by 3.8m (17.7%) at 9.05pm, dropping 900,000 on the previous week.
ITV1 had a strong lead at 8.05pm, though, thanks to Britain's Got Talent. The contest drew a very strong 9.4m (41.3%) audience, though was still down 900,000 on last week.
On BBC One at the time, National Lottery show 1 vs 100 drew 4.5m (19.7%). ER, on Channel 4 at 8.05pm, interested only 742,000 (3.3%) while Five's NCIS attracted 1.2m (5.3%).
World Snooker Championship coverage dominated Saturday night for BBC Two. A two-hour show beginning at 7pm drew 1.6m (7.3%).
