'Invisibles', 'Midnight Man' neck-and-neck

BBC One drama The Invisibles won a narrow ratings victory over new ITV1 offering Midnight Man last week.

The first instalment of the ITV1 three-parter, starring James Nesbitt, drew 3.1m, or 14.4% of the viewing audience, from 9pm on Thursday.

Crime series The Invisibles only managed to finish slightly ahead on share with 3.1m (14.5%).

On Channel 4 at 9pm, Cutting Edge documentary 13 Kids and Wanting More attracted 2.8m (13%).

The fifth episode of Heroes season two, on BBC Two in the slot, drew 2.5m (11.6%); while US drama also paid off for Five, where 1.7m (7.9%) watched House.
