Grampian Television is moving to new headquarters in the Craigshaw Business Park next May, it has been announced.
The ITV station's managing director, Derrick Thomson, said: "We are creating a state of the art facility which will include a digital newsroom and studio.
"We remain committed to a high profile presence in Aberdeen and to doing what is best for our viewers, advertisers and staff. There are major changes taking place in the television business and we are keeping up with these events. Digital technology and widescreen formats are being introduced across the ITV Network and Grampian Television will be at the forefront of these developments."
The move, from Queen's Cross to Aberdeen's Tullos district, will start this month. The new studio will be on air by mid-2003, the company says.
