Rachel denies 'I'd Do Anything' Sam feud
Published Tuesday, May 27 2008, 15:26 BST | By Simon Reynolds

Speaking to DS, Rachel said: "It's nonsense, it's absolutely ridiculous. The week that that was picked up, Niamh, who was one of Sam's best mates, was sent home. When the girls were hugging me she was looking over to Niamh to give her a bit of support.
"She did say she'd feel like a bit of a wally if she went and tried to hug me - she wouldn't have gotten in for a hug! There's no tension there at all, it's just who they want to give their support to."
The 26-year-old from Belfast admitted that she hoped Jodie would walk away with the role of Nancy on next week's final.
"I definitely think Jodie should, and will, win the competition outright," Rachel said. "I think she's got the whole package [and] she's got the age behind her. She can act and sing her socks off."
Rachel also revealed that she felt Sam and Jessie were too young to handle the demands of the West End Oliver! role.
"The other two girls can play Nancy no problem, but I'm just thinking for their age, mentally and emotionally, dealing with the press and the publicity, I think Jodie is more capable for that and she's never been more ready for something in her life," Rachel said.
