Van Outen, Shephard for ITV1 song show

Members of the studio audience will be challenged to sing pop tracks while a computer system named SAM judges if they are hitting the right notes.
"Each song will contain ‘hot notes’ which are selected and monitored by SAM," said ITV. "The contestant who receives the highest score will go through to the next round. Only one lucky voice will be left standing and have the chance to compete for the grand prize of £50,000."
Van Outen said: "I'm always the first to get up on a karaoke night out with the girls, so I'm looking forward to being part of this massive Saturday night party! We've all sung into our hairbrushes or in the shower, but Who Dares Sings gives people the opportunity to step into the spotlight and sing on national TV."
Shephard added: "As an Essex boy born and bred I can't wait to start working with the Queen of Essex, Denise Van Outen."
ITV is still looking for audience members and contestants for the summer series.
